The change of company name from SILLER Handels GmbH to Siller Advisory GmbH has been filed with the Austrian Commercial Register and is pending registration. The legal entity, company register number and all rights and obligations remain unchanged.

Siller Advisory GmbH (hereinafter "we", "our" or "us") is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website.

02Legal framework

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). We process only the data required for the purposes described below.

03Website hosting and access data

This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) through its global network. When you visit the website, the following data is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, browser type and operating system, and referrer URL.

• Purpose: technical operation, stability and security of the website, including protection against attacks
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
• Retention: log data is deleted by the hosting provider after a limited period, unless required for security investigations

Fonts, images and videos are served from our own website; no content is loaded from third-party font or video services.

04Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the website against abuse (Section 165(3) TKG 2021, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

05Web analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visitor numbers and page usage in aggregated form. It does not use cookies or similar storage on your device, does not create user profiles and does not track you across websites. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

• Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

06Contact form and email

When you contact us via a form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, company, position, email address, phone number, message and attachments) to handle your request. Form messages are delivered to our mailbox office@silleradvisory.com. To prevent automated spam, our forms contain a hidden check field; we do not use third-party CAPTCHA services.

• Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
• Retention: inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 24 months. Correspondence relating to an engagement is retained in line with statutory retention periods (Section 132 BAO: 7 years).

Our email and document systems are operated on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited), using data centers within the EU.

07Job applications

Applications submitted via our careers page or by email are processed solely for the recruitment process.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Section 1 DSG
• Retention: applications are deleted 7 months after the position is filled, unless you consent to longer retention for future opportunities

08Global Macro Expert platform

Our data platform at globalmacro.expert is operated by Siller Advisory GmbH under this Privacy Policy. It uses the same hosting (Cloudflare) and cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Market data is stored in our Microsoft Azure environment in the EU.

• A small cookie remembers for 30 minutes that you have seen our introduction note, so it is not shown again (strictly necessary for the requested display, Section 165(3) TKG 2021).
• Staff and subscriber sign-in uses a session cookie; Siller Advisory staff sign in with their Microsoft account (Microsoft Entra ID), which processes the account identifier and group membership to grant access (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

09Recipients and international transfers

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our behalf as processors (Cloudflare, Microsoft) and only to the extent necessary. Where data is transferred to the United States, the transfer is based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR). We do not sell personal data.

10Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

11Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, contact us at office@silleradvisory.com.

12Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission (TLS), access controls and multi-factor authentication, to protect personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The current version is always available on this website.
